Milwaukee 10, Chi. Cubs 2

MESA, Ariz., March 13 (UPI) -- Richie Sexson, Raul Casanova and Izzy Alcantara homered and Ben Sheets tossed five scoreless innings Wednesday as the Milwaukee Brewers routed the Chicago Cubs, 10-2.

Sexson hit a solo homer in the second off Cubs starter Kerry Wood while Casanova victimized Wood for a two-run shot in the fifth. Alcantra hit a solo homer in the ninth for Milwaukee, which had five of its 10 extra bases.

Sheets allowed four hits and a walk and struck out three, facing just four batters over the minimum.

Wood allowed four runs and four hits in five innings. He walked one and struck out two.

David Kelton homered in the seventh for Chicago.
