Minnesota 6, Tampa Bay 2

FORT MYERS, Fla., March 12 (UPI) -- Nick Bierbrodt continued his wild streak Tuesday as the Tampa Bay Devil Rays dropped a 6-2 decision to the Minnesota Twins.

Bierbrodt walked five, hit two batters, threw four wild pitches and allowed four runs in just two-thirds of an inning. The lefthander walked seven, hit a batter and threw a wild pitch in his previous start.

David Ortiz hit a solo home run and Bobby Kielty and A.J. Pierzynski each drove in a run for the Twins.

Brad Radke allowed one run and six hits in four innings as he earned his second win of the spring. Lefthander Brad Thomas tossed three scoreless innings in relief, allowing just two hits.
