Arizona 10, Milwaukee (ss) 7

TUCSON, March 10 (UPI) -- Doug Devore hit a pinch two-run homer and Luis Terrero added a bases-clearing double in an eight-run seventh Sunday to give as Arizona a 10-7 victory over a split squad of Milwaukee Brewers.

The highlight of the inning, however, was an 18-minute delay while a swarm of bees surrounded the mound.

Lyle Overbay added an RBI single in the inning for Arizona, which built a 10-2 lead before allowing two runs in the eighth and three in the ninth.

Jeremy Ward -- Arizona's fourth of seven pitchers -- picked up the win after tossing a scoreless seventh. Jose Parra relieved an ineffective Mike Koplove and pitched a scoreless frame for the save.

Jorge Sosa was hit with the loss after giving up six runs, three hits and two walks without recording an out.

Brewers starter Jimmy Osting pitched three scoreless frames. Brian Anderson started for the Diamondbacks and surrendered two runs in four innings.
