Philadelphia 9, Toronto 8

CLEARWATER, Fla., March 8 (UPI) -- Scott Rolen had a two-run homer and a two-run single Friday to help the Philadelphia Phillies to a 9-8 win over the Toronto Blue Jays.

The Phillies bounced back from a 7-0 deficit with two runs in the third, four in the fifth and three runs in the sixth.

Doug Glanville, Rickey Ledee and Rolen each had two of the Phils' 13 hits.

The Phillies bailed out starter Robert Person, who allowed seven runs and five hits in three innings. The righthander allowed home runs to Brian Lesher, Vernon Wells and Chad Mottola.

Wells drove in a pair of runs and walked twice and Eric Hinske drove in three runs for the Blue Jays.
