Orlando Cabrera scored on Barrett's single, which gave Montreal a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the fourth.
In the sixth, Preston Wilson led off with a double for Florida and scored the tying run on Millar's single.
Montreal had a chance to win in the bottom of the 10th, loading the bases against Gary Knotts with one out. But infielder Tomas De La Rosa grounded into a double play.
