Vancouver 6, Minnesota 3

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, March 3 (UPI) -- Markus Naslund collected three assists and set up defenseman Mattias Ohlund's eventual game-winner as the Vancouver Canucks rolled to a 6-3 triumph Saturday night over the Minnesota Wild to end a four-game losing streak.

Ohlund struck 4:03 into the second period to extend Vancouver's lead to 4-0. Naslund intercepted a clearing attempt by defenseman Brad Brown behind the Minnesota net, skated in front but was tripped up before getting off a shot. The puck slid to Ohlund in the left faceoff circle, where he put a one-timer past goaltender Manny Fernandez.

The Canucks improved to 12-3-1-1 when Naslund registers at least two points in a game.

Naslund also helped set up goals by Todd Bertuzzi and Brendan Morrison that stretched Vancouver's lead to 6-1 late in the second period.

Matt Cooke, Daniel Sedin and Trevor Letowski also scored and Dan Cloutier had to make just 11 saves for the Canucks, who have earned a point in 20 of their last 24 games.
