Auburn 75, Georgia 72

AUBURN, Ala., Feb. 9 (UPI) -- Marquis Daniels scored 14 points and Brandon Robinson and Adam Harrington each added 13 Saturday as Auburn snapped a six-game losing streak with a 75-72 Southeastern Conference victory over 19th-ranked Georgia.

Auburn (10-11, 2-8 SEC West), which came into the contest in last place in the division, posted its first win since defeating archrival Alabama on Jan. 12, also at home.

Jarvis Hayes scored 23 points for Georgia (18-6, 7-4), which had a two-game winning streak snapped and dropped into a virtual first-place tie with Florida (6-3) in the SEC West.

Auburn has won four of the last five meetings against Georgia to take an 83-81 all-time lead in the hotly contested series.
