DENVER, Jan. 31 (UPI) -- Scott Hartnell scored twice in the second period and Tomas Vokoun made 26 saves Wednesday night as the Nashville Predators posted their first road win against the Colorado Avalanche, 5-2.

Vitali Yachmenev, Denis Arkhipov and Tom Fitzgerald also scored for Nashville, which had been 0-5-1 in its first six trips to Colorado.

Radim Vrbata and Joe Sakic scored for Colorado. Sakic has scored in consecutive games after going a career-high 18 without a tally.
