TUSCALOOSA, Ala., Jan. 9 (UPI) -- Erwin Dudley led all scorers with 24 points Wednesday night as No. 15 Alabama extended its home winning streak to 13 games with a 92-79 victory over Southeastern Conference rival Vanderbilt.
Dudley was six of 12 from the field and 12 of 15 from the line while pulling down 11 rebounds. Rod Grizzard scored 19 points and made all nine of his free throws for the Crimson Tide, who made 37 of 43 at the line while the Commodores converted 11 of 13.
Terrance Meade added 16 points for Alabama (14-2, 2-0 SEC West), which committed 15 fouls, 17 fewer than Vanderbilt.
Reserve Sam Howard was eight of 11 from the field and made four of six three-pointers to lead the Commodores with 22 points. Chuck Moore was three of six from beyond the arc for 18 points.
Vanderbilt (10-5, 0-2 East) helped make up for the free-throw disparity by making 12 of 28 three-pointers. Alabama sank just five of 16.
Vanderbilt fell to 0-4 on the road this season and lost to Alabama at Tuscaloosa for the sixth time in seven games.
