North Carolina 92, St. Joseph's 76

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Dec. 22 (UPI) -- Jason Capel scored 21 points and Brian Morrison added 19 Saturday night as the North Carolina Tar Heels posted a 92-76 victory over No. 18 St. Joseph's in the consolation game of the Tournament of Champions.

Saint Joseph's (6-3) dropped its second straight game, but its conduct may have been more disappointing than its play. The Hawks were whistled for three technical fouls and two intentional fouls and drew boos from the pro-North Carolina crowd at the Charlotte Coliseum.
