Ball St. 103, IUPUI 81

INDIANAPOLIS, Dec. 15 (UPI) -- Patrick Jackson scored 24 points Saturday night as 23rd-ranked Ball State bounced back from a tough loss to post a 103-81 victory over Indiana-Purdue-Indianapolis.

In the midst of a five-game stretch against other Indiana schools, the Cardinals (6-2) rebounded from last Saturday's 74-61 loss at the state's premier basketball institution, Indiana.

Ball State has won both all-time meetings between the schools.

Lance Williams scored 26 points to lead IUPUI (3-4), which has dropped three straight.
