Nashville 4, Ottawa 2

NASHVILLE, Dec. 6 (UPI) -- Defenseman Andy Delmore scored a pair of power-play goals and Scott Hartnell collected two assists Thursday night as the Nashville Predators finally secured the 100th win in team history, 4-2 over the Ottawa Senators.

Delmore got the eventual game-winner 14 seconds into the second period. He received a pass from Hartnell at the left point, took a few strides toward the net and wristed a shot over goaltender Patrick Lalime's glove.

Mike Dunham stopped all 18 shots over the first two periods, but Daniel Alfredsson spoiled his shutout bid with 13:27 remaining. Defenseman Zdeno Chara had the other goal for the Senators.

Greg Johnson opened the scoring 77 seconds into the game with his 100th NHL goal. Vladimir Orszagh's power-play tally midway through the final period extended Nashville's lead to 4-1.
