DALLAS, Dec. 3 (UPI) -- The Dallas Stars placed left wing Brenden Morrow on injured reserve Monday and recalled right wing Cameron Mann from Utah of the American Hockey League.
Morrow suffered a knee injury in the third period of Dallas' 6-4 win at Edmonton on Saturday.
By being placed on injured reserve, Morrow will be out for at least seven days. He will miss games against Ottawa on Wednesday and Edmonton on Friday and is eligible to return for the December 12 contest against Buffalo.
The 5-11, 200-pound Morrow has five goals and five assists with 45 penalty minutes in 26 games this season. A first-round pick in 1997, Morrow has 39 goals and 48 assists with 254 penalty minutes in 172 games with the Stars.
Mann has played in 14 games with Utah this year, posting four goals and six assists. He missed 11 games with a fractured foot from October 24-November 16.
Acquired by Dallas from Boston last June, Mann has appeared in 89 NHL games, collecting 14 goals and 10 assists.
