Minnesota 4, St. Louis 4 (OT)

ST. PAUL, Minn., Dec. 2 (UPI) -- Defenseman Al MacInnis scored with 2:01 left in regulation Sunday night as the St. Louis Blues rallied for a 4-4 tie with the Minnesota Wild.

MacInnis' first goal in seven games came just 42 seconds after Andrew Brunette scored on the power play to put the Wild in front. Pavol Demitra drove down the right side and centered just before heading behind the net.

The puck glanced off teammate Keith Tkachuk and came to MacInnis, who snapped a shot from the right faceoff circle through traffic and past goaltender Dwayne Roloson for his fifth of the season.

Both teams had scoring chances late in overtime. MacInnis fired a blast from almost the same spot he scored, but Roloson caught it in his midsection with 17 seconds left. Moments later, Fred Brathwaite stopped a tricky shot from the top of the right circle by Darby Hendrickson.

Hendrickson also scored on the power play and defenseman Ladislav Benysek had a shorthanded goal for Minnesota, which has lost just once in its last six games (4-1-1).
