Sacramento 110, Dallas 98

DALLAS, Nov. 29 (UPI) -- Peja Stojakovic scored 32 points Thursday night, including a pair of key late jumpers, as the Sacramento Kings fought off a second-half rally to down the Dallas Mavericks, 110-98.

Sacramento saw a 20-point lead cut to four before Mike Bibby scored for a 93-87 lead with 3:25 to go. After the Mavericks failed to answer, Stojakovic sank a 21-foot jumper over Steve Nash for an eight-point cushion with 2:40 to go.

Michael Finley hit a three-pointer 17 seconds later to get Dallas within 95-90, but Stojakovic countered with a fadeaway jumper from the top of the key with Nash draped all over him.

Hedo Turkoglu finished with 17 points and Bobby Jackson added 16, but the story was Stojakovic, who made 13 of 19 shots.

Dirk Nowitzki scored 29 points and Finley had 21 for the Mavericks, who had a four-game winning streak stopped.

Sacramento established control by closing the first half with a 13-2 spurt for a 59-42 lead. Jackson had nine points in the spurt.

A basket by Stojakovic gave the Kings their largest lead at 68-48 with 7 1/2 minutes left in the third quarter.
