St. Joseph's 84, Delaware 57

NEWARK, Del., Nov. 28 (UPI) -- Marvin O'Connor scored 21 points in 22 minutes and Na'im Crenshaw added 16 Wednesday night to boost No. 21 St. Joseph's past Delaware, 84-57.

The win was the 13th in the last 14 meetings for St. Joseph's (3-1) over Delaware and the 26th in 34 games overall.

O'Connor shot seven of 11 from the field and three of six from three-point range, as well as four of four from the line. The senior is averaging 25 points over the last two games.

Crenshaw was six of nine from the floor. He made his only three-point attempt and all three of his foul shots as well as grabbing six rebounds in 27 minutes.

Jameer Nelson chipped in 12 points from the field and Bill Phillips pulled down nine boards to lead the Hawks.

Sean Knitter led Delaware (2-3) with 11 points. All three baskets were from three-point range and he added six rebounds.

Ryan Iversen also pulled down six boards for the Blue Hens, who fell to 0-24 all-time against top 25 teams.
