Dallas 119, Phoenix 104

DALLAS, Nov. 24 (UPI) -- Dirk Nowitzki scored 32 points and Shawn Bradley fueled a decisive second-quarter run Saturday night as the Dallas Mavericks eased past the Phoenix Suns, 119-104, for their third straight victory.

Nowitzki had a four-game stretch during which he averaged 13.5 points while shooting just 30.5 percent from the field. The Mavericks lost the first three of those games before ending their skid.

The German 7-footer snapped out his funk with 33 points Friday in Miami and continued his torrid scoring against Phoenix, making eight of 20 shots and 14 of 17 free throws.

In his last two games, Nowitzki has been more aggressive, making 24 of 27 foul shots.

Steve Nash had a season-high 29 points and nine assists for the Mavericks, who took the lead for good in the second quarter and easily surpassed their previous season high of 110 points against Charlotte on Nov. 6.

Known more for his defense, the 7-6 Bradley contributed on the offensive end with 12 points in just 13 minutes. He scored six points in an 18-8 second-quarter surge that gave Dallas a 49-39 lead.
