The Senators are 9

1 during their streak, outscoring opponents 41-15 in that span. They are one game short of tying the best unbeaten streak in franchise history.

Defenseman Sami Salo, Mike Fisher and Daniel Alfredsson scored for the Senators. Salo scored the only goal Lalime needed on a delayed penalty 6:37 into the first period. Alfredsson centered a pass to Salo in the slot, where he put a wrist shot past goaltender Dan Cloutier.

The Canucks pulled Cloutier, who allowed three goals on 14 shots, in favor of Peter Skudra after Alfredsson scored midway through the third period.
