Toronto 5, Florida 1

TORONTO, Nov. 19 (UPI) -- Mats Sundin scored a pair of goals Monday night as the Toronto Maple Leafs posted a 5-1 victory over the Florida Panthers, who lost superstar Pavel Bure in the process.

Bure, who has led the NHL in goals the past two seasons, was buried face first into the glass on a clean check by Darcy Tucker and ended up leaving the game after losing teeth.

Without Bure, the Panthers gave up the final four goals. Sundin gave the Maple Leafs the lead for good, 2-1, with 3:20 left in the first period and capped the scoring with 8:03 to play in the third.

Florida paid back Tucker with 4:20 to go as Wiemer caught him with the butt end of his stick, resulting in a five-minute major and a game misconduct.

One of the NHL's best agitators, Tucker remained on the ice for several minutes but left under his own power while holding his face.

Tucker set the tone for a physical game and was involved in one of three fights. The other two involved Tie Domi, the Leafs' 5-10 enforcer who threw haymakers with 6-6 tough guy Peter Worrell midway through the third period.
