BOSTON, Oct. 27 (UPI) -- Theo Fleury scored with 25 seconds left in overtime Saturday night as the New York Rangers snapped a three-game losing streak with a 2-1 victory over the Boston Bruins.
Mike Richter made 45 saves for the Rangers, who were outscored, 15-4, during their three-game skid, allowing five goals in each loss.

After Boston's failed opportunity, Eric Lindros got to a loose puck in the left corner and lofted a pass to defenseman Brian Leetch, who waited for the puck before crossing the Bruins' blue line.
Leetch skated through the left faceoff circle and threw a snap shot toward the far goalpost. The hard-charging Fleury poked it past goaltender Byron Dafoe.
