Michigan 32, Iowa 26

IOWA CITY, Iowa, Oct. 27 (UPI) -- John Navarre tossed a 13-yard touchdown pass to Shawn Thompson with 8:34 left Saturday as No. 8 Michigan rallied from a 13-point deficit to post a 32-26 Big Ten Conference victory over Iowa.

It was the Wolverines' 10th win in their last 12 meetings with the Hawkeyes and their fifth straight at Iowa.

Michigan (6-1, 4-0 Big 10) trailed, 20-7, on a 40-yard field goal by Nate Kaeding with 9:35 left in the third quarter, but Chris Perry ran three yards for a score with 5:56 left in the quarter.

Navarre completed 12 of 33 passes for 188 yards and an interception while Perry ran for just four yards on two carries.

Kyle McCann completed 14 of 27 passes for 170 yards and two interceptions for Iowa (4-3, 2-3). Backup Brad Banks was five of eight for 86 yards and a score.

Michigan leads the all-time series, 37-8-4.
