Houston 91, San Antonio 85

SAN ANTONIO, Oct. 26 (UPI) -- Steve Francis scored eight of his 20 points during a decisive fourth-quarter run Friday night as the Houston Rockets edged the San Antonio Spurs, 91-85.

Francis had eight points during a 16-5 burst that turned a 76-69 deficit into an 85-81 lead with two minutes to play. Francis' jumper capped the run.

The spurt was started by Kevin Willis, who played his first game for Houston after being re-acquired Monday in a three-team deal. The veteran seven-footer, who was with Houston in 1996-97 and 1997-98, had 16 points in 21 points.

Cuttino Mobley had 19 points in 43 minutes for the Rockets, who shot just 44 percent from the field but won their third straight game and finished the preseason at 5-3.

Tim Duncan scored 20 points and Rose and Antonio Daniels added 17 each for the Spurs, who shot just 38 percent and also closed their exhibition slate at 5-3.
