BOISE, Idaho, Oct. 14 (UPI) -- Ryan Dinwiddie passed for a career-high 405 yards and four touchdowns -- three to Jeb Putzier -- as Boise State routed Tulsa, 41-10, in a Western Athletic Conference contest.
It marked the second straight game in which Dinwiddie established a personal best as he threw for 342 yards in last week's 45-14 loss to Rice.
For the season, the sophomore has passed for 1,666 yards and 13 touchdowns.
Dinwiddie got the Broncos (3-3, 2-1 WAC) on the board with a 28-yard TD pass to Putzier 2:14 into the first quarter. He connected with Putzier again on a 37-yard TD strike with 25 seconds left in the second quarter that gave Boise State a 20-3 halftime edge.
Tulsa (1-4, 0-3) closed to 20-10 on Ken Bohanon's one-yard TD run 1:37 into the second half.
But Dinwiddie was unstoppable. He gave Boise State a 28-10 lead with a one-yard TD run just over two minutes later, then tossed TD passes of 20 yards to Jay Swillie and 42 yards to Putzier.
Brock Forsey paced Boise State on the ground with 127 yards on 20 carries.
Josh Blankenship completed 16-of-24 passes for just 113 yards for Tulsa, which was held to a meager 34 yards on the ground.
The Golden Hurricane have dropped four straight after a season-opening victory over Division I-AA Indiana State.
