Seth Rogen's 'Preacher' gets a third season on AMC

Oct. 27 (UPI) -- Preacher executive producer Seth Rogen has confirmed AMC renewed his supernatural series for a third season to air in 2018.

"Season 3!!!! #Preacher," Rogen tweeted Thursday, along with a photo of cast members Dominic Cooper, Ruth Negga and Joseph Gilgun.

The blood-soaked, but darkly funny series is based on the comic books by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon. The story follows a band of unlikely heroes -- a minister, his girlfriend and a vampire -- as they try to save the world from demons.
