As part of the $99,625 grant, DTS will provide the Air Force Research Lab, located at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, with analysis of current test data that characterizes air combat maneuvers and ejection events.

Officials say DTS will also design and develop a helmet-mounted smart sensor system prototype to "perform real-time sensor data analysis, and test the device under simulated eject conditions," a news release said.
