DPG was also awarded a contract from the U.S. Air Force. The company says it has delivered initial prototypes of its fiber-optic radio frequency links for potential applications in an Air Force Electronic Warfare simulator.

"These two contracts represent a significant step forward for DPG as it works to improve performance and reliability while reducing weight, life cycle operating costs, and electromagnetic pulses susceptibility of military aircraft," John Husaim, DPG chief executive officer, said in a statement.

"In addition, we believe DPG's technology holds great potential for commercial aviation as the industry strives to improve aircraft performance and safety."
