CACI announces intel, defense contracts

ARLINGTON, Va., Aug. 4 (UPI) -- U.S. company CACI International Inc. has been contracted to support security and intelligence authorities with information technology solutions.

CACI says the awards, from undisclosed government authorities in the intelligence and national security communities, are for the company to provide technical solutions, and analytical services including document translation services to track and prevent terrorist attacks.

Officials say the previously unannounced contracts are worth approximately $133 million.

"CACI offers trusted and proven solutions to support critical missions in such areas as homeland security, defense and civilian intelligence, and law enforcement," Bill Fairl, CACI U.S. operations president, said in a statement.

"Our uniquely qualified professionals enable us to provide a wide range of security and intelligence support services to help our clients counter threats both at home and abroad."
