BRIGHTON, Mich., Aug. 4 (UPI) -- The U.S. Army has selected Lowry Computer Products to deliver Automatic Identification Technologies as part of a contract vehicle.
Michigan-based Lowry was awarded the contract from the Army Information Technology, E-Commerce and Commercial Contracting Center.
Under the indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity Automatic Identification Technologies IV contract, Lowry will provide the Defense Department along with NATO partner countries and others with AIT-enabling technologies for logistics and total asset visibility requirements among others.
"The award of this contract continues to validate Lowry's ability to deliver the real value of leading edge automatic identification/data capture solutions to a wide range of government agencies," Michael Lowry, Lowry president and chief executive officer, said in a statement.
"We are honored to be recognized as a trusted supplier to the Defense Department."
