LOUISVILLE, Ky., July 13 (UPI) -- U.S. company Appriss unveiled its new criminal investigation support technology designed to track persons of interest for law enforcement authorities.
Technology services provider Appriss announced the launch of its new eBatch tracking system designed to provide information on persons of interest for investigators at law enforcement agencies.
Officials say the eBatch system pulls information from law enforcement records including a suspect's address, phone number and employer, providing investigators with arrest notifications in real time.
"A number of criminal justice agencies can benefit from this new tool," Brian Oldham, Appriss executive vice president, said in a statement.
"Child support enforcement, sheriff's departments, missing persons units, and warrant departments can use this to seek information in a fraction of the time it would normally take to generate leads. The information made available through eBatch can be accessed 24 hours a day, seven days a week."
