QinetiQ to continue supporting DC SAIT

STAFFORD, Va., July 7 (UPI) -- The U.S. Marine Corps has awarded QinetiQ North America a follow-on contract to continue providing engineering services and analytic support services.

QinetiQ says its Systems Engineering Group was awarded the follow-on prime contract from the Marine Corps Systems Command Acquisition Center for Support Services.

Under the $11.7 million, QinetiQ will continue to support the Marine Corps Systems Command's Deputy Commander, Systems Engineering, Interoperability, Architectures and Technology, or DC SIAT, as part of a Commercial Enterprise Omnibus support services contract.

Officials say QinetiQ will provide the DC SIAT with engineering and analytic services among other requirements.

"To support DC, SIAT, we have assembled a team with both technically and operationally relevant experience, capable of providing superior engineering support," Nylda Conde, QinetiQ North America vice president, engineering and technical services division, said in a statement.
