NEW YORK, June 23 (UPI) -- Suspect Detection Systems Inc. announced the successful completion of Israeli-based research and development of its Cogito4M military grade technology.
Suspect Detection Systems has completed a two-year research and development project on its Cogito4M technology. Officials say the Cogito4M is a portable interrogation technology with multilingual tools developed to ensure soldiers in the field get accurate identification of terrorist suspects for detention.
The lightweight system was developed in the field during military experience in Israel.
"As we see from events in Iraq and Afghanistan, militaries fighting in modern combat zones require multilingual tools for the rapid field interrogation of terrorists and enemy forces using civilian shelter," Shabtai Shoval, Suspect Detection Systems chief executive officer, said in a statement.
"The Cogito4M rapid interrogation tool can collect vital tactical intelligence vis-a-vis possible ambushes, mines or other potential threats."
