PASADENA, Calif., April 14 (UPI) -- The U.S. Marine Corps has selected Parsons to support the Mobile Military Operations on Urban Terrain combat-training program.
U.S. company Parsons will partner with Allied Container Systems Inc. to support the Marine Corps Systems Command. Under the deal, Parsons and Allied will provide support services for the Marine Corps Systems Command's MOUT training systems designed to offer troops realistic training for urban combat environments.
Officials said Parsons and Allied will provide the MOUT training systems with engineering-analysis and planning services, among other requirements from the Marine Corps.
"Parsons is extraordinarily proud to be chosen to support the Marine Corps' mission to create training environments that meet 21st century challenges," Tom Roell, Parsons Group president, said in a statement.
"Parsons has been providing range-planning, engineering, design and environmental services for our military's training ranges worldwide, and we are committed to the MOUT mission's success."
