ICF to support Navy Sea Warrior program

FAIRFAX, Va., April 8 (UPI) -- ICF Inc. has been selected to join a team providing the U.S. Navy Sea Warrior Program with strategic program development services.

U.S. company Tri Star Engineering Inc. was awarded a Sea Warrior Program Management Office, known as PMW 240, contract by the Navy. The PMW 240 is designed to provide the Navy's Manpower, Personnel, Training, and Education enterprise and Distance Support program with information technology acquisition support.

ICF announced it will team with Tri Star for the PMW 240 contract. Under the deal, ICF will provide a support approach for the Sea Warrior program's growing IT portfolio, among other services.

"ICF has continuously provided a range of strategic services to the Sea Warrior program," Jeanne Townend, ICF senior vice president, said in a statement.

"This experience, along with our knowledge of defense business transformation, will help the program establish a consistent operating model across its extensive stakeholder communities."
