ACC to deliver RF tech for RCIED jamming

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif., April 1 (UPI) -- Emrise Corp. has been contracted to supply the U.S. military with its radio-frequency technologies for integration into roadside-bomb jamming systems.

U.S. company Emrise said its Advanced Control Components Inc. subsidiary was awarded $420,000 for its RF devices. Under the deal, ACC will deliver its RF technology for use in remote-controlled improvised explosive device jamming systems deployed in combat zones to help protect military convoys.

Carmine Oliva, Emrise chief executive, said the announced RF-device order will be filled in the third quarter with any outstanding deliveries expected to take place in the fourth quarter.

"ACC has proven to be an important acquisition for Emrise and its shareholders, as it is opening new markets and making significant contributions to our top- and bottom-line performance," Oliva said in a statement.
