Under the deal, Pennsylvania-based JWF, a tactical-vehicle armor developer, will produce and deliver to General Dynamics 805 of its Stryker driver-enhancement kits, which are designed to add additional protections for Stryker combat-vehicle operators.

"Stryker is a family of eight-wheeled combat vehicles that includes 10 variants … (that) have been deployed to support Operation Iraqi Freedom since 2003," according to a news release.

Officials said JWF will be expected to complete the order for the Stryker driver-enhancement kits before June.
