MILTON KEYNES, England, March 11 (UPI) -- The British Defense Ministry has contracted K International to provide the British armed forces with translation services.
England-based K International was awarded the Ministry of Defense contract for work on secure language translation of more than 35,000 documents for the British armed forces.
Officials said the four-year deal for secured language services will include all official languages spoken in the European Union. Under the contract, K International will help the Ministry of Defense develop language translation systems to improve security.
"Building upon the contracts already in place for the (British) Home Office, Prison Service and National Health Service, this deal will help to save the Ministry of Defense money and introduce the possibility for innovation into the process via K International's online translation-management system," according to a news release.
