Electronic Systems registered for ITAR

SIOUX FALLS, S.D., March 6 (UPI) -- The U.S. State Department has certified the International Traffic in Arms Regulations registration for Electronic Systems Inc.

U.S. company Electronic Systems said the State Department's Bureau of Political-Military Affairs approved the company's ITAR registration as part of the Arms Export Control Act.

The ITAR registration, administered by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, certifies that Electronic Systems is in compliance with regulations for the manufacturing, exporting and transferring of defense technologies and information.

"We are proud to manufacture products that support the people who make our world a safer place," Electronic Systems President Gary Larson said in a statement.

"Because of that, we felt it was necessary to take additional steps to safeguard defense-related data for our customers as well as our nation."
