SALT LAKE CITY, Feb. 24 (UPI) -- Utah-based Seer Technology Inc. announced the launch of its new chemical threat detection technology for the military and homeland security markets.
Seer announced the release of the AccuSense Chemical Recognition system that officials say is designed to recognize hundreds of different chemical gases alerting operators to potential threats.
AccuSense, launched at the defense industry's IDEX product expo taking place in the United Arab Emirates, is a 6-pound field-deployable device that can identify chemical threats and the concentration level of each gas.
"AccuSense is the perfect solution for first responders and emergency personnel who must act quickly to save lives in situations where chemical threats are unknown," John Cleary, Seer Technology AccuSense product manager, said in a statement.
