Under the CLS agreement, Rolls-Royce will supply its field representatives to provide hands-on support for Kiowa Warrior units when the helicopters are deployed for missions in various military theaters.

"The OH-58 Kiowa Warrior fleet provides a vital capability for the U.S. Army, performing critical troop support and reconnaissance missions, often in extremely harsh environmental conditions," Ken Roberts, president of the Rolls-Royce helicopter business, said in a statement.

"Since 2000, the comprehensive services Rolls-Royce delivers have enabled the U. S. Army to concentrate on performing safe and effective missions in multiple theaters of operation."
