ELKHART, Ind., Feb. 18 (UPI) -- BAE Systems has contracted Indiana-based CTS Corp. for electrical technologies in support of the company's production of the A3 Bradley Fighting Vehicle.
CTS was awarded approximately $24 million from BAE. Under the deal, CTS says its Electronics Manufacturing Solutions group will provide Line-Replaceable Units in support of BAE's production of the A3 Bradley Fighting Vehicle, widely deployed for combat operations in Iraq.
The Line-Replaceable Unit is a "complex component that is designed to be replaced quickly for power control, system control and distribution," the release said.
Officials say manufacture of the Line-Replaceable Units will be done at the company's California facility.
