SAN DIEGO, Jan. 30 (UPI) -- U.S. company Able Forensic Investigations says it plans to expand its Tactical Surveillance Counter Measures unit to increase threat investigation capabilities.
Able Forensic Investigations officials announced the planned expansion of their TSCM unit will include an increase in the number of investigators in the section and an increase in the amount of equipment the unit has at its disposal.
Company officials say their TSCM expansion is part of an effort to address the growing threat companies face in an evolving security climate.
"Corporate espionage in the global marketplace is real and on the rise," Howard Eisemann, Able Forensic Investigations Investigative Services president and general manager, said in a statement.
"TSCM services are not for every company, but if the disclosure of conversations or phone calls within offices would cause irreparable harm to a business, then a TSCM investigation should be seriously considered."
