CHANTILLY, Va., Jan. 16 (UPI) -- The U.S. Defense Logistics Agency has contracted information technology solutions developer TechTeam Global Inc. to support life-cycle management.
Virginia-based TechTeam Global says its NewVectors division received the DLA award. Under the $15.28 million deal, TechTeam will support the DLA's Enterprise Business System in aligning with the strategic goals and objectives of the Defense Department.
TechTeam says it will provide acquisition, compliance and life-cycle support for the DLA in an initiative to improve material management efficiency.
"This contract represents a total modernization of the way the material management mission is being accomplished," David Kriegman, TechTeam Government Solutions president, said in a statement.
"DLA's complex mission requires an in-depth familiarity with the Program Management Office as well as experience in multiple functional disciplines. We are pleased to have the opportunity to apply our commercial best practices and DLA experience to support this mission."
