Megaman: Super Smash Bros. debuts trailer featuring the Blue Bomber

Gaming giant Nintendo revealed Tuesday that the iconic character "Mega Man" would be joining the Super Smash Bros. franchise in 2014.

The announcement was made during the pre-E3 2013 Nintendo Direct in which they showed a CG trailer featuring Mega Man in his classic "Blue bomber" suit.

In addition to the human robot, Nintendo will also add "The Villager" from animal Crossing to the upcoming Super Smash Bros. game due to debut on Wii U and 3DS next year.

Classic characters including Mario, Samus Aran, Fox McCloud, Donkey Kong, Pikachu, Pit, Bowser and Princess Peach will also be featured in the game.
