CUPERTINO, Calif., Sept. 24 (UPI) -- Just hours after release, Apple pulled its update to iOS 8 -- iOS 8.0.1 -- because of reports the update caused problems with users cellular service and Apple's Touch ID.

The tech giant released the update to fix problems with HealthKit apps and other problems that affected the first version of the new iOS.
