NEW YORK, Nov. 6 (UPI) -- AT&T said it would be offering Finnish phone maker Nokia's Lumia smart phone for less than $100 with a two-year service contract.

Nokia ditched its in-house software and struck a deal with Microsoft for its mobile devises. The Lumia 820 and the fancier Lumia 920 work with the Windows Phone 8 operating system, the Los Angeles Times reported Tuesday.

Reviews say the Lumia is on the heavy side by modern standards. The phone include a 4.5-inch screen and a video camera with a feature that helps keep the shots steady.

The Lumia 920 has storage capacity of 32 gigabytes. AT&T will also sell the Lumia 820, which has less storage capacity, at a cost of $49 with a new two-year contract.

AT&T said it will be taking pre-orders for the Finnish phones Wednesday and will have them in stores by Friday.
