Canadian social worker Line Rainville is a diehard fan of Star Trek and used $30,000 to redecorate her basement to look like different parts of the Enterprise.

Rainville, a resident of Notre-Dame-des-Prairies, Quebec, has recreated parts of the Enterprise bridge, transporter room, recreation room and even Spock's bedroom.

A few years ago Rainville wanted to build a home theater that would remind her of her childhood. She chose to rebuild the Enterprise and consulted a designer who had never seen the show but gave her ideas on how to go about it. She then began building all the furniture scouring eBay for the panel buttons and other props she could find online.

"I had put in so much energy seeking what I wanted that to accept failure is difficult, even to this day. Although people say they are impressed with the decor, I know well each inaccuracy, the exact places that I could improve," she said.

Now that the room is ready Rainville is planning a housewarming party for her basement and plans to serve Star Trek-themed food.
