Dec. 2 (UPI) -- SpaceX will make a fourth attempt to launch its Falcon 9 rocket on Tuesday after pushing back an attempted launch on Monday.
The Falcon 9, which is attempting to place an SES satellite in geostationary orbit, had two aborted attempts last week and will try to launch again, weather conditions permitting. SpaceX delayed Monday's launch to recheck systems.
The launch is now scheduled for 5:41 pm EST Tuesday off the coast of Cape Canaveral, with Wednesday open as a backup launch day.
"All known rocket anomalies resolved. Will spend another day rechecking to be sure," SpaceX CEO Elon Musk said on Twitter.
Technical issues forced the company to abort two attempts made last week. Last Monday, the liquid oxygen systems developed a snag, and on Thanksgiving day onboard computers automatically aborted the launch after thrust levels did not reach required levels.
