April 9 (UPI) -- NASA astronaut Chris Cassidy and two Russian cosmonauts in a Soyuz capsule docked successfully with the International Space Station on Thursday after a launch from Kazakhstan.
The Soyuz crew docked with the station's Zvezda service module three minutes before the planned time of 10:16 a.m. EDT. About two hours after docking, hatches between the Soyuz and the station were to open to let the newest crew members in.
