Fish kill on Prince Edward Island worse than first thought

CHARLOTTETOWN, Prince Edward Island, July 29 (UPI) -- A Trout River fish kill in western Prince Edwards Island, Canada, is more severe than originally thought, provincial environmental officials said.

Officials said they don't yet know what caused last week's fish kill -- the third on the river in three years -- and were waiting until test results come back in a couple of weeks, CBC News reported.
