LAUREL, Md., July 11 (UPI) -- A NASA spacecraft on its way to the dwarf planet Pluto captured a first photo of its largest moon, Charon, from nearly 550 million miles away, scientists say.
The photo was snapped by the New Horizons spacecraft, which is approaching Pluto and scheduled to fly by the tiny world in July 2015, SPACE.com reported Thursday.
